Iola Abraham Ikkidluak (1936–2003) was an acclaimed Inuit sculptor from Lake Harbour (Kimmirut), Nunavut. Ikkidluak’s sculpture was featured in major exhibitions across Canada and the United States, including presentations at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Smithsonian Institution, the Queens Museum, and the Inuit Gallery of Vancouver. His work also appeared in thematic exhibitions such as By the Light of the Qulliq, Inuit Masterworks, and The Coming and Going of the Shaman, underscoring his contribution to the cultural and spiritual narratives central to Inuit artistic expression.
Ikkidluak’s sculpture is represented in significant public collections, including the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, the Toronto-Dominion Bank Collection, and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
