Markus Houston is an Anishinaabe artist from Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba, who works primarily in acrylic painting. His artwork is displayed in multiple locations throughout Manitoba, including the RBC Convention Center, and he has established himself as a recognized Indigenous artist in the Winnipeg area. In addition to his studio practice, Houston has conducted educational workshops on Indigenous acrylic artwork techniques at various schools across Manitoba, contributing to arts education and cultural sharing in the region.
